Humphrey’s & Partners Architects, L.P. seeks a Senior Director of Quality Control/Quality Assurance to lead the full scope of the function for the firm. The position will be based in the corporate headquarters in Dallas, Texas. The firm was founded in 1991 and has become a leader in developing groundbreaking copyrighted concepts and designs such as "The Big House" and "e-Urban" in multi-family housing, hi-rise, hospitality and mixed-use structure design and architecture. The firm has offices in 7 other US cities including Irvine, Phoenix, Las Vegas, New Orleans, Orlando, Charlotte and Norfolk; and offices overseas in Chennai, India and in Dubai.
Duties: Responsible for monitoring firm-wide architectural QC/QA standards. When necessary, will develop and implement standards to improve quality & timeliness of projects. Monitors projects and provides operational guidance. Streamlines process of projects moving from design to production. Interface with senior management, financial and project staff on the status of projects. Oversee client specific interaction when needed, monitors contract compliance, and provides leadership on project technical support for work plans, budgets, and schedules. Provide mentoring for staff consisting of project managers and construction administrators. Interface with Human Resources to ensure proper professional development for each production staff member.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Architecture; minimum of 10-15 years experience and licensure; NCARB required; Extensive experience in multi-family residential; must have experience in the entire process from development through construction management; must be able to manage through influence in a team environment; must be able to introduce efficiencies and modern techniques to process; must have extensive experience with AutoCAD 2006; must be an excellent communicator, meet and exceed deadlines, and know how to control multiple projects in a cost-effective, timely manner
